Interesting buildings in Macclesfield
Opened in 1871, Macclesfield Drill Hall was originally the headquarters of the 8th Cheshire Rifle Volunteers. After becoming redundant in 1990, it was converted into apartments.
These two red brick shopfronts on Bridge Street are thought to have been added to an existing row of cottages in the 1870s.
